Portsmouth Business School is keen to strengthen its thriving research environment across its different subject areas by investing in a number of Research Fellowships focusing on graduate employability. We are looking to appoint a committed and self-motivated researcher who has a strong research record and potential, including publications, and experience in participating in, and ideally leading, research projects. The successful candidate is likely to enjoy working collaboratively and developing research programmes. A confident command of quantitative research methods is required. Knowledge of mixed methods research techniques and connectivity with international research networks, particularly in Africa, South-East Asia, and Latin-America is desirable. Portsmouth Business School is a large multidisciplinary school.
We welcome applications from all business subject areas and social sciences. The Research Fellow will be working on interesting corporate sustainability research, which explores sustainability challenges in developing countries, socially inclusive green growth/circular economy, sustainable business models and global supply chains, collaboration and leapfrogging innovation for sustainability. The research will enhance the University of Portsmouth’s extant research excellent areas of Sustainability and The Environment investigating the potential of sustainable, innovative, ethical and socially inclusive business models and strategies to address grand sustainability challenges.
