The School of Health Sciences and Social Work has a history of teaching and researching in clinical subjects and is expanding academic development in new and emerging health fields and roles. We are committed to providing the students on our courses with a sound knowledge and evidence base that will prepare them to be safe and effective practitioners. We have a commitment to innovative learning methodologies, supported by superb simulation resources.
The successful applicant will have an in-depth knowledge of current and emerging modern practice, with recent experience of working in clinical practice. The successful candidate will be able to effectively articulate their contribution to improving patient services, through education and innovation. We actively encourage and support those staff who are ambitious in their own career development, through doctoral studies.
Applicants must have current registration to the relevant professional statutory regulatory bodies (e.g. Health and Care Professions Council).
The appointment will be made on the Senior Teaching Fellow scale depending upon experience and qualifications.
