Centre of Excellence Business Associate

The Institute of Industrial Research are seeking a committed Business Associate to help with all aspects of business engagement activities associated with the South Coast Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications.

Funded by the Satellite Applications Catapult and the United Kingdom Space Agency, The South Coast Centre of Excellence is a partnership that has been established to grow business investment in satellite applications and through collaboration develops an expanded portfolio of new products, services and ultimately economic growth.

The role will be to act as Centre co-ordinator to manage activities within the Centre’s agreed portfolio of deliverables and also manage existing relationships with Satellite Applications Catapult, industry, funding bodies & the partner organisations.  In order to create new opportunities working with the Centres Directors that can be converted into successful funded collaborative projects.

You must have a track record in administration, minute taking and keeping good records. The role will require both internal and external networking, and post holders will need strong relationship building skills to successfully develop new project portfolios. Excellent team working skills and an understanding of the role business plays in higher education are vital for the successful candidates.
