We’re looking for a team player who can deliver outstanding financial administration support in meeting our new state of the art indoor sports facility service offering and financial administration needs. Working as part of our proactive Business Development team, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the department is efficient and effective in financial and systems administration, whilst ensuring the proper standards and financial controls are maintained.

 

Ravelin Sports Centre is an outstanding new public sports centre opening soon in Portsmouth. The £57M sports centre’s superb facilities include a 25m 8 lane swimming pool, 175 station fitness suite, climbing wall, ski simulator, café and community orchard set in historic parkland.

 

You’ll play a key role in enhancing the University’s reputation for sport and establishing the University as one of the leading modern universities for sport within the HE sector. The main purpose of the role is to commit to the development and delivery of excellent customer service as well as providing financial administration support to the Senior Sports Finance Administrator. You’ll need to be a highly motivated and organised person, with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment. To support the delivery of University/Departmental events, activities and functions the post holder is expected to work flexibly to provide services to a range of customers. As a maximum, the post holder may be needed to work 1-3 weekday evenings and 1 weekend day per month as well as specific peak times per service.
