The University of Portsmouth is a dynamic and ambitious institution with a track record of success. One of only four universities in the south east of England to achieve a Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework and ranked in the top 150 in the Times Higher Young University World Rankings.
The University of Portsmouth is looking for three highly motivated marketing professionals. Working as part of our Marketing team, each Coordinator will deliver innovative marketing solutions for their specific Faculty. We are looking for multi-taskers, comfortable with juggling requests and projects, people with excellent organisational and communication skills, and of course a great understanding of all the latest marketing practices.
At the University we value, respect and celebrate diversity and support equal opportunity. The Faculty Marketing Coordinator roles focus on building relationships and working collaboratively to inspire and engage all audiences across the student journey.
The roles will be based at our Portsmouth campus, however we are exploring blended working that will enable us to keep all the positive virtual engagement we’ve learnt over the last year. This is in addition to an excellent package of benefits that comes as part of joining our community - https://www.port.ac.uk/about-us/working-at-portsmouth/staff-benefits
Please visit our website for more detailed information about the vacancy. When making an application, please detail which Faculty role you wish to apply for in the ‘Reasons for Applying’ section of your application.
The University of Portsmouth believes this role may be eligible for sponsorship with UKVI under the Skilled Worker Route visa. Please familiarise yourself with the requirements set out before applying for this role. If you are unable to meet the requirements for sponsorship you will need to confirm details of an alternative visa to work in the UK when applying for this role.
Please note that anonymous shortlisting will be carried out for this role as part of the University’s commitment to equality and diversity and ensuring a fair and consistent approach to recruitment. Personal details that are included on application forms, including the candidate’s name and address, will not be disclosed to the shortlisting panel. If you have been asked to upload any additional information to evidence how you meet the person specification, this should not contain information that would allow the shortlisting panel to identify who has applied. We kindly ask that candidates do not send CVs or cover letters as these will not be considered.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons and all appointments will be made on merit. As we are committed to the principles of the Race Equality Charter Mark, we would particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian, or from other ethnic groups who are currently under-represented at this level in this area.
