We are seeking to appoint a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow in Blood Science/Biomedical Science to join our successful, enthusiastic and friendly team.  You will be expected to have a relevant postgraduate qualification with knowledge and experience in Biomedical Science including Blood Science, the capacity to teach effectively to undergraduate and postgraduate students, including the delivery of laboratory classes and to supervise projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. You should also have experience of course development and the co-ordination/management of placement/work based training activities. You should also have the capacity to develop your teaching and scholarly activities and be committed to the development of new approaches to pathology focused pedagogies. You will also be expected to contribute towards the co-ordination of the teaching and research activities of others and the development of our educational programmes. Whilst your teaching commitments will be predominantly to our BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science and MSc Medical Biotechnology programmes and you will also be involved with other courses in the School’s teaching portfolio and the development of new relevant course provision.

 

You will be based in the Division of Biomedical Science within the School of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences which has a long and successful history of delivering accredited Biomedical Science provision. Staff within the Division include three Professors, one Reader, two Principal Lecturers, and six Senior Lecturers.
