The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Portsmouth seeks a Lecturer in History.
This post will be based in the History team which is part of an inter-disciplinary school including Area Studies, Politics, International Relations and Development Studies, and Literature. This post is designed to broaden the geographical expertise of the existing History team. We are, therefore, looking to appoint a scholar who has a research specialism in social and cultural history of a geographical area outside of Western Europe and North America in any period between the 15th and 20th centuries. The successful candidate will join colleagues with national and international recognition for their excellent research and teaching.
At the University of Portsmouth, we value diversity and welcome applications from all sections of the community, and in particular from under-represented groups.
