In recognition of the success within the University and the Faculty of Technology, the Schools of Engineering and Civil Engineering and Surveying are looking to expand their Technical Support Team.  This is a unique opportunity to start a career in a technical role and be part of this exciting expansion contributing to these diverse and vibrant Schools within the Faculty of Technology.

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated staff who want to contribute and make a difference in supporting the education of the future generations of engineers.

The successful candidates will work closely with the Technical Manager and other technicians to support learning and teaching activities for undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students. In order to provide a comprehensive technical support service within the School of Engineering, for this position, you will need experience in a Mechanical Engineering discipline, preferably with some workshop knowledge or experience working with machinery. You will also have the ability and aptitude to manage a high volume of diverse tasks.
