The principal responsibility of the post is to provide high quality technical support for student activities, research and innovation as well as providing assistance with the maintenance of equipment and materials in accordance with relevant legislation and University policies.  An interest in and aptitude for working with computer programmes and apps would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in a variety of technical settings and will be a team player with the ability to use their own initiative.  Professionalism, the ability to maintain high standards and implement new procedures along with a commitment to providing the highest quality of service to staff and students is essential.

The hours of work will normally be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday during University term-time, 33 working weeks per year.
