Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) operates our data centres, networks, server, desktop and software platforms. In our modern and highly resilient environment, we provide the software, hardware and operating system platforms upon which the University heavily depends.

As Deputy Infrastructure Services Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the University desktop systems including Windows Deployment Services, Application delivery, Windows Build Management and associated licensing. You will be expected to work closely with technical teams to provide the required level of service.

The Deputy Infrastructure Services Manager will report to the Infrastructure Services Manager and will have direct line management responsibility for all grades of Desktop Specialists including personal development reviews.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge in the areas of technical team management, resourcing, planning and monitoring all work being done by the team. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate excellent communication, influencing and analysis skills.
