The School of Education and Sociology is seeking to employ a Professor in the School of Education and Sociology. The successful candidate will join a thriving University with an ambitious new strategic vision and a growing and dynamic team of education, childhood and youth studies researchers.
The department has a number of research strengths in education leadership management, early childhood, education and care, wellbeing, the sociology and psychology of childhood and youth studies, the higher education student experience and a significant reputation in teacher education.
The successful candidate will be able to contribute to the growing research area in education related to the links between Education and Health/Well-Being (multi-agency working with children, families, care leavers, educational interventions etc) and education policy.
Therefore, we are seeking applications that can cover one or more of these areas of education studies and/or childhood and youth studies.
The expected start date is November 2019
