The Programme Office within Information Services is recruiting for a 12 month fixed term contract Principal Project Manager to support the delivery of the Digital Success Plan for L&T (Learning & Teaching), managing the delivery of a number of digital transformation projects.

 

Getting the right individual is integral to the overall success of the business and its long-term

growth plans. You will be required to lead and direct teams consisting of technical, non-technical, contract and fixed term staff from other areas of the business.  We are looking for someone with proven experience in effective leadership of strategic, business change and system implementation projects. 

 

You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of multiple L&T projects, working within challenging delivery timelines.  You will have experience of working with stakeholders at all levels, and will be able to work on multiple projects by managing your time efficiently and effectively.  You will be responsible for project plan creation, monitoring and reporting of project deliverables to ensure successful completion of planned activities to schedule.  You should respond well to working under pressure and enjoy being part of a team.  We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of digital learning, a track record of project managing and delivering digital transformation projects, ideally within Higher Education institutions, and has excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

 

The role will require the employee to be working hybrid (on campus and remote). 

Knowledge of HEI is desirable.
