The Faculty of Technology is looking to appoint three posts to enable academic course teams and individual members of staff to (re)design and deliver their courses and modules for different modes of study, including Blended and Connected Learning and Online Learning. The post holders will support the relevant academic course and module teams from conceptualisation, design, institutional approval, all the way to teaching practice in line with Blended and Connected principles and evaluation.
The posts will support staff in achieving teaching excellence through, for example, the facilitation of learning design workshops (e.g. CAIeRO, Carpe Diem and ABC) in collaboration with the Head of Academic Development and other key stakeholders.
The successful candidates will be expected to combine their expertise in learner-centred curriculum design, teaching practice, an ability to create highly engaging virtual learning environments, digital fluency and excellent collaborative working to role.
The posts will work closely with a team of Online Course Developers, Academics within each of the six schools in the Faculty of Technology, and the Dean of Digital and Distributed Learning. The team will be expected to work primarily on site and task manage two placement students.
